Arteries carry blood towards the heart and veins carry blood away frowm the heart. Is it TRUE or FALSE?

Thanks for your help (:Arteries carry blood towards the heart and veins carry blood away frowm the heart. Is it TRUE or FALSE?
The answer is BOTH%26gt;In general it is False but only exception is the pulmonary artery carries the blood to the heart where as pulmonary vein carries the blood away from the heart. Arteries carry blood towards the heart and veins carry blood away frowm the heart. Is it TRUE or FALSE?
No offense to the previous poster, but pulmonary arteries carry blood away from the heart (to the lungs) and pulmonary veins carry blood back to the heart from the lungs. An artery always carries blood from the heart, no matter if the blood is deoxygenated (as it is in the pulmonary artery) or oxygenated (all the other arteries). Same with the veins.
False. Arteries Away!
False, its the other way around, veins take blood to the heart, arteries takes it away.
False.

Remember: Arteries - OUT

Veins - IN
