Is this sentence true or false?

Only one plane can pass through one line and a point that is not on the line.Is this sentence true or false?
It's true because a plane must have three points and only one plane can pass through those three points. A line must have two points. So a line plus another point = 3 points = one plane.

(if you take a piece of paper and actually hold and look at this problem in real space, it's easier to understand)Is this sentence true or false?
Geometry?

Algebra?

GL.
THIS IS TRUE.

but it cannot be explained, coz this statement is an axiom, and axioms have no explanations and no proofs. they are assumptions which are taken to be true.
