TRUE or FALSE - In a single sodium-potassium pump cycle, ATP is used up with the result that...?

3 sodium ions leave and 2 potassium ions enter.

Give THREE sentence justification of the answer.TRUE or FALSE - In a single sodium-potassium pump cycle, ATP is used up with the result that...?
True.

3 Na bind to pump and an ATP provides the energy needed to change the formation of the pump to allow Na to leave. 2 K than bind to to different binding sites on the pump, the binding of the Ks change the formation of the pump again allowing the 2 Ks into the cell.
