True or false? Acceleration refers to increasing speed, decreasing speed, or changing direction?

increasing speedTrue or false? Acceleration refers to increasing speed, decreasing speed, or changing direction?
Increasing speed and changing directions. Though most physics problems does not require the latter.True or false? Acceleration refers to increasing speed, decreasing speed, or changing direction?
Acceleration refers to any change in either speed or direction.
False. (Changing direction has nothing to do with it.)
true! i think.
The rate at which an object's velocity changes with time. The rate of change of velocity over time. Also a change in speed: Speeding up鈥lowing down鈥?or changing direction.
false it refers to increasing speed and changing direction but not decreasing speed
I believe accelleration to be ANY change in speed OR direction.
Acceleration is the act of increasing speed. Decreasing speed is the opposite.
Acceleration is the generic term for the rate of change of speed over a certain period of time.

If the speed increases over time, then it is really called acceleration. However, if it is slowing down, the appropriate term for it is deceleration.

When a particle changes direction, it is assumed that it slows down before it does change its direction so technically, it can be mentioned that the body experiences deceleration before changing directions.
True
false
False, Changing direction without decreasing speed requires acceleration but is not acceleration.
true,acceleration is increasing speed.
False; Acceleration only applies to increasing speed. Ever heard of deceleration?
