Coolidge and Hoover failed to take measures to prevent the coming Depression. true or false?

That is false, it hit hard and fast. the Twenties after WWI was known as the roaring for a reason. It was a great time until the Market crash of 29.

Coolidge was long dead and Hoover got stuck with the problem. I do not think they could have done much without prior knowledge of it long before it happened.

So False.Coolidge and Hoover failed to take measures to prevent the coming Depression. true or false?
False.

They attempted to take action, but they took the wrong actions which, in turn, made it worse.

Hoover dramatically RAISED taxes, thinking that the government having more money to fund projects would sustain the economy. (Keep that in mind for the coming 2 years).
